Reverse circulation drilling intersects visible gold, results include:

  • 4 metres at 13.6 g/t gold including 1 metre at 30.1 g/t from 50 metres
  • 3 metres at 11.49 g/t from 36 metres
  • 4 metres at 23.83 g/t gold from 85 metres
  • 2 metres at 21.98 g/t gold from 102 metres

The results from the drilling confirm the high grade gold results from the initial trenching (10m at 2.94% copper and 8 g/t gold) and have defined a high grade mineralised zone that starts at surface contains abundant visible gold occurrences and is present in the drilling at 100m depth.

A total of eight holes covering 400 metres of strike have been completed for the GCZ with depths ranging between 100 and 150 metres. To date, assays have been received for six of the holes targeting the GCZ and results for 2 holes are outstanding. In addition, four holes have been completed at the Lower Gold Zone (LGZ) and most of these samples are at the Laboratory. Further drill results are expected in the next few weeks.
